Promising technologies for assessing the socio-economic effects of lawmaking were discussed at the Center for Strategic Research

On 6 of December, the Center for Strategic Research hosted a seminar devoted to studying the international experience of conducting a parliamentary impact assessment, as well as discussing the prospects for introducing RIA to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

Representatives of Regulatory Impact Assessment Department of Russian Ministry of Economic Development, representatives of business community, experts of the Higher School of Economics, Institute for Program and Policy Evaluation took part in the seminar.

Director of the RIA Center Daniel Tsygankov made a speech on the topic “Impact assessment of regulatory acts in the European Parliament and its role in the European system of rulemaking evaluation”.
